Work
Has been police chief for two years in Ludington. He moved from Newark, Delaware, where he was lieutenant and special forces commander. He was in that position for 20 years and before that was a regular policeman with skills in investigation.
“I am very grateful and humbled by the opportunity to serve the community of Ludington as Chief of Police," Jones said.
"I appreciate the trust that has been placed in me. I am honored to accept this position and lead the men and women of Ludington Police Department. I look forward to becoming part of the Ludington community, serving with excellence and professionalism," Jones said.

Often quotes like that are seen as formalities by the speaker... I hope this is not so with our Police Chief.
I want to hope Jones took his vows seriously, however it seems to be coming out now that he may have destroyed controversial evidence in a citizen investigation.

He chooses his words carefully and is overall unemotional in tone. However, there are conversation points that can wiggle emotions out of our Police Chief.
